Job Profile & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven professional to join our Procurement team. The ideal candidate will bring strong domain expertise, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset to support procurement operations for Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) fleets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead procurement activities for spares and components across multiple WTG makes including Gamesa, Regen, Inox, etc.
Manage end-to-end procurement processes from RFQ generation to PO issuance.
Ensure compliance with internal and external audits including QMS, EMS, and Safety standards.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation using SAP MM module.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing.
Negotiate with vendors to secure optimal commercial terms and ensure adherence to Indian contract law.
Support EXIM processes and documentation for international procurement.
Travel to vendor locations and project sites as required for procurement and vendor development.
Prepare and deliver impactful presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Work effectively in a digital-first environment with strong data management and reporting skills.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Proven experience in procurement within the wind energy sector.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Knowledge of commercial clauses and financial instruments (e.g., Bank Guarantees).
Familiarity with global and local supply chain dynamics in the wind industry.
Exposure to audit processes and compliance frameworks.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
