Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven

Head of Procurement

to lead our procurement function in alignment with the company's operational and financial goals. The successful candidate will oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services required for construction projects, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery. This role demands a strong understanding of construction operations, vendor management, supply chain optimization, and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and implement procurement strategies that support project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Lead the procurement team and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and best practices. Source and manage suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers, with an emphasis on cost reduction, quality assurance, and reliability. Oversee the preparation and review of RFQs, tender documents, purchase orders, and contracts. Evaluate supplier performance through audits, KPIs, and regular reviews. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to forecast demand and manage procurement budgets. Negotiate terms and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service-level agreements. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards in all procurement activities. Implement risk management strategies for supply chain continuity. Leverage technology and ERP systems to streamline procurement operations and reporting.

Requirements



Education & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred). Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the construction or infrastructure sector.

Skills & Competencies:



In-depth knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and services. Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Strong analytical, financial, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?90,000.00 per month
