: Procurement role Experience in Spare Parts Procurement Strong background in sourcing automobile spare parts for passenger cars. Vendor Management Skills Proven ability to identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage suppliers efficiently. Negotiation Skills Excellent at negotiating prices, payment terms, and lead times with vendors. Inventory Knowledge Understanding of inventory turnover, stock replenishment cycles, and demand planning. Technical Know-How Basic understanding of spare parts fitment, categorization (OE, OES, IAM), and quality levels. Data-Driven Approach Comfortable using Excel, ERP tools, and procurement dashboards to track and improve performance. Cost Optimization Mindset Ability to identify and act on cost reduction opportunities through alternate sourcing or bulk procurement. Market Intelligence Stay up-to-date with market rates, competitor sourcing strategies, and availability of new vendors. Geographic Exposure Experience in handling suppliers across different regions (preferably PAN India). Planning and Coordination Strong organizational skills to align with store teams, warehouse, finance, and logistics.
