Procurement Executive

Location

Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Experience Required

4-5 years in procurement / sourcing, preferably in

furniture, woodwork, or manufacturing industries

Educational Qualification

Graduate in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field MBA / Diploma in Materials Management (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Source and procure

raw materials

(wood, laminates, plywood, hardware, fabrics, upholstery, paints, adhesives, etc.) at competitive prices. Develop and maintain relationships with

local and national vendors

. Evaluate suppliers on price, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines. Negotiate contracts, terms, and payment conditions. Ensure timely procurement to avoid

production delays

. Coordinate with

Production, Design, and Quality Control

teams to understand material requirements. Maintain proper records of

purchase orders, invoices, and inventory

. Conduct regular

market research

to identify cost-saving opportunities. Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the stores team for reordering. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and

statutory regulations

.

Key Skills Required

Strong knowledge of

furniture raw materials

and vendors. Good negotiation and vendor management skills. Working knowledge of

ERP / MS Office

. Analytical and cost-optimization mindset. Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Salary Range

?2.5 LPA - ?4 LPA

, depending on skills and company scale.
