Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing:

Identify and onboard reliable vendors for critical components including

Substation Transformers

, switchgears, and

High Tension (HT)

cables.

End-to-End Procurement:

Manage the full procurement lifecycle--from Indent/Requisition to Purchase Order (PO) issuance and final delivery.

Technical Evaluation:

Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure all procured materials meet technical specifications for

Electrical Infrastructure

and grid connectivity.

Vendor Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and service providers specializing in

EHV

equipment.

Negotiation & Cost Control:

Lead price negotiations to achieve significant cost savings without compromising on quality or project timelines.

Logistics & Tracking:

Monitor lead times and logistics for heavy electrical machinery to ensure on-site availability according to project schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience:

3-5 years of hands-on procurement experience, specifically within the

Solar Industry

or Power Distribution sector.

Domain Expertise:

Familiarity with the procurement of

Substation Transformers

, power transformers, and equipment for

High Tension

installations.

Negotiation Power:

A "tough-but-fair" negotiator with a history of optimizing procurement costs and terms.
