Identify, evaluate, and select reliable vendors and suppliers for solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, cables, electrical items, and BOS components.
Float inquiries, obtain quotations, and perform price & technical comparisons.
Negotiate terms of purchase, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure approval as per company policies.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and material quality.
Coordinate closely with project, engineering, and accounts teams to plan material requirements.
Maintain procurement records, supplier database, and cost analysis reports.
Ensure compliance with company standards, statutory requirements, and safety norms.
Support in vendor audits and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Track market trends, price fluctuations, and new product availability in the solar industry.
