Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, delivery time, and service. Request and review quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and issue purchase orders. Maintain updated records of suppliers, materials, and pricing. Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and equipment as per production or departmental needs. Coordinate with the accounts department for supplier payments and resolve invoice discrepancies. Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and quality standards. Track and analyze key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply chains. Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely delivery. Prepare and maintain procurement reports, including cost analysis and budget tracking. Participate in vendor audits and performance reviews.
