Procurement Executive



Key Responsibilities:



Procurement Management:

Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and services required for different projects.

Develop and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.

Vendor Management:

Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery time, and reliability.

Identify and onboard new suppliers to diversify the vendor base.

Cost Optimization:

Analyse market trends to ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality.

Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to achieve favourable pricing and payment terms.

Inventory Control:

Monitor inventory levels to ensure the timely availability of required materials.

Coordinate with the warehouse team for stock verification and timely replenishment.

Material Transportation:

Oversee the transportation of procured items to the designated worksite within stipulated timelines.

Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure efficient delivery of materials.

Monitor transportation schedules and resolve issues that may arise during transit.

Entry Pass Management:

Handle the process of obtaining entry passes for materials and equipment as per site regulations.

Coordinate with the security and administrative teams to ensure smooth entry and exit of goods.

Verify documentation and comply with statutory requirements for material movement.

Documentation and Compliance:

Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documentation.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.

Coordination:

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to understand material requirements.

Track and expedite the delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.

Reporting:

Maintain procurement records and generate periodic reports on purchases, expenditures, and inventory status.

Provide updates to management on procurement activities and challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:



Diploma / Bachelor's degree in any field

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.

Skills:



Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.

Sound knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.

Familiarity with materials and industry standards is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ?15,000.00 per month
