We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team at [ Inventech solutions]. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
:
Manage procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure favorable terms.
Evaluate supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and pricing, to ensure compliance with contract terms.
Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and manage inventory to avoid shortages.
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations, and logistics) to align procurement strategies with business needs.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements regarding procurement and supply chain activities.
Procure raw materials, supplies, and finished goods required for ongoing and upcoming interior contracting projects.
Identify and evaluate suppliers and vendors, ensuring they meet quality, price, and delivery expectations.
Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms to optimize procurement costs.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and inventory.
Coordinate with the project team to ensure materials are delivered on time and meet the project requirements.
Monitor stock levels and reorder materials to prevent shortages or delays in project timelines.
Qualifications
:
Diploma
Minimum [3-4] years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract management.
Knowledge of procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
