We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable individual with excellent expertise in fruits, vegetables, and organic products. The ideal candidate should be open to traveling as required, have hands-on experience with farm produce procurement , and be passionate about organic & fresh produce.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and source high-quality fruits, vegetables, and organic products.
Maintain relationships with farmers, vendors, and suppliers.
Conduct field visits to farms, mandis, and suppliers as per company requirement.
Ensure the quality and freshness of all incoming produce.
Coordinate logistics and timely delivery of produce.
Provide insights on pricing trends, seasonal availability, and product quality.
Manage basic inventory records and documentation.
Support sales team with product knowledge, pricing, and market updates.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in fruits/vegetables procurement.
Strong knowledge of organic produce and seasonal fruits/vegetables.
Willingness to travel frequently within and outside Delhi-NCR.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Google Maps etc.)
Preferably from a supply chain, agri-business, or food background.
