Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement processes for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and optimal costs.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring excellent service and support.
- Analyze market trends, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement engineering or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successful procurement projects and cost savings.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in procurement software and systems (e.g., ERP, procurement platforms).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of export industry-specific regulations and standards.
