- Procurement Engineer (Real Estate)

About the Role

Imperial Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to manage the sourcing, negotiation, and purchase of materials, equipment, and services for our real estate projects. The role requires a strong technical understanding of construction materials and engineering products, combined with excellent vendor management and cost-optimization skills. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery of quality materials to keep projects running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and select reliable vendors and suppliers for construction materials, finishes, MEP items, and services.

Prepare RFQs (Request for Quotation), compare bids, and negotiate for the best price, quality, and delivery terms.

Ensure timely procurement of materials in line with project schedules.

Collaborate with project, design, and site teams to understand technical requirements.

Maintain records of purchases, pricing, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.

Develop cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.

Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and statutory regulations.

Coordinate with finance for vendor payments and resolve discrepancies.

Continuously monitor market trends, material innovations, and price fluctuations.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.

2-6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in real estate, construction, or infrastructure sector.

Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor markets, and technical specifications.

Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement tools.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

Analytical mindset with cost-conscious approach.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
