JOB PROFILE

Indirect procurement and execution for our Plant purchases, which includes processing of RFQ, negotiating with supplier, assisting with supplier development, proactive liaison with other departments / project personnel in order to forecast / plan for strategies like outsourcing, developing vendor database.


Experience in an engineering, procurement and operations Procurement of Packing material, masterbatches, sleeves and other accessory categories Procurement of MRO Spares/OPEX items including the HR / Facilities , Stationery , Promotional Supplier negotiation Process purchase requisitions / orders within purchasing authority, Ability to analyze technical scope of work and bills of material and drawings to understand key requirements Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals, comparing prices, specifications and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers. Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements Assist in the development of specifications for equipment, materials, and services to be purchased Handling of logistics for lifting of ordered goods and supply to plants Convincing the vendors for planning and production to maintain inventory at vendor's end Administer contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages and insurance Reconcile or resolve value discrepancies / Account statements Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices, Laws of the land for trade compliances. Proficiency with personal computers and networking, specifically Microsoft Excel Knowledge and direct experience in negotiating contracts and quotations with Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers Ability to identify cost reduction opportunities Supplier performance dashboard creation, monitoring the updates on SLA and deliverables to internal and external customers Scrap sales from plants which are generated at plant

Senior Engineer level - 3-5 years relevant experience * in Purchase functions in Engineering / Manufacturing organization.
