Job Responsibilities:

Material & Equipment Sourcing

Identify reliable suppliers and manufacturers for mechanical components, equipment, and services. Request and evaluate quotations based on technical and commercial aspects.

Technical Evaluation

Understand technical specifications and ensure purchased items meet engineering and project requirements. Coordinate with engineering and project teams to clarify requirements.

Purchase Order Management

Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner. Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Cost and Vendor Management

Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions. Maintain and update approved vendor lists.

Logistics Coordination

Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for dispatch, tracking, and delivery of materials. Ensure proper documentation for transportation and customs (if required).

Inventory & Demand Planning

Support inventory control by providing accurate procurement forecasts. Assist in maintaining minimum stock levels without overstocking.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain complete procurement records, including purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and supplier contracts. Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and external regulations.

ERP System Handling

Work with ERP or procurement software for requisition, PO creation, tracking, and reporting.

Supplier Relationship Management

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality or delivery.

Reporting

Provide regular updates to the procurement head or project team on material status and procurement progress.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
