Key Competencies

Civil & Structural Procurement

In-depth understanding of construction materials -- cement, steel, aggregates, sand, AAC blocks, ready-mix concrete (RMC), reinforcement, waterproofing systems, and finishes.

PEB System Procurement

Knowledge of PEB components (primary & secondary members, roofing sheets, bolts, anchor fasteners), vendor evaluation, and erection sequencing.

Infrastructure Works

Experience procuring materials & services for asphalt roads, storm-water drains, culverts, paving, kerbing, and peripheral development.

Building Works

Expertise in procurement for multi-storey RCC & masonry structures, including AAC block systems, plaster, joinery, and finishing materials.

Water & Utility Systems

Familiarity with civil-mechanical procurement for Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Overhead Storage Tanks (OHST), underground sumps, and pipelines (DI/HDPE/MS).

Equipment & Plant Hire

Ability to source heavy construction machinery, formwork systems, scaffolding, cranes, batching plants, and bitumen plants at optimum rates.

Procurement & Commercial Competence

Preparation and management of

Procurement Execution Plans (PEP)

and

Material Procurement Schedules

aligned to project timelines. Preparation of

RFQs / enquiry documents

, technical and commercial bid evaluations, and vendor comparisons. Proficient in

rate analysis

, budget tracking, and variance reporting against BOQ and cost control sheets. Strong

negotiation and contract finalization

Educational & Professional Background

Minimum qualification Diploma in civil Engineering

Minimum experience of 3 to 5 years as handling procurement department

Knowledge of all kind of building materials as well structural steel, flexible and rigid road pavement part related materials 4. Have with building developers
