Key Responsibilities:
Assist in sourcing and procurement of furniture, fittings, equipment, and consumables for ship living quarters.
Issue Request for Quotations (RFQs), evaluate supplier offers, and prepare cost comparisons.
Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company policies.
Track deliveries, follow up with vendors, and coordinate shipments to vessels or shipyards.
Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, supplier information, and material specifications.
Work closely with project team and technical teams to understand onboard requirements.
Coordinate with logistics and warehousing teams to manage inventory and delivery timelines.
Support budgeting and cost control efforts for refits, dry-dockings, or new builds.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
4-5 years of procurement experience, ideally in the marine or ship management sector.
Basic knowledge of shipboard accommodation systems and materials.
Proficient in MS Office and procurement/ERP systems (e.g., Odoo.).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with shipboard living quarters refurbishment or newbuilds.
Knowledge of marine-approved products and manufacturers.
