Job Description

As Kyndryl Procurement Contract Advisory SME, you will work directly with the Kyndryl Global Procurement Governance and Policies, Legal, procurement, sales, and other business functions to provide well-reasoned commercial and contract guidance for Kyndryls relationships with our suppliers, based upon established policies, guidelines, applicable regulations, and the application of your trusted professional judgment in a flat, fast, collaborative, and hands-on working environment.
You will participate in or lead significant and complex contract advisory, draft and revise contract terms, facilitate compliance with established contracting policies, practices, regulations, and delegations, and participate in broader forward-looking strategies to keep Kyndryl at the cutting edge of Managed Infrastructure Services.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, self-motivated, and creative thinking individual with well-developed oral and written communication skills. Attorney or contracting professional with 5 -10 years of experience in complex contract drafting negotiations.
This role demands the ability to establish positive working relationships with key senior internal stakeholders and the ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with all levels of internal stakeholders.
The abilities to disagree without being disagreeable, create win-win solutions, focus on solving problems, articulate principled justifications for your positions, and build consensus toward a common goal are all key to success in this role.
This role is an individual contributor role to develop and maintain a best in breed Procurement contracting body.
Candidate would be expected to provide pragmatic and commercially focused advise to business teams and other functions on wide array of activities.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Structuring, drafting, vetting, reviewing, negotiating and management of varied procurement contracts-Drafting, updating and improving templates of varied standard agreements-Deep understanding of the laws including in particular laws relevant for commercial contracts-Identify contract and commercial risks, issues and propose appropriate mitigation strategies by coordinating with management-Maintain Contracts management report
