We are looking for a Procurement Executive with a chemistry background and a keen understanding of industrial purchasing to manage chemical, SFG (Semi-Finished Goods), and packaging material procurement efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Purchase Operations

Identify, source, and procure chemicals, SFG (Semi-Finished Goods), and packaging materials as per production requirements. Handle commercial purchases ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. Issue purchase orders, negotiate rates, and maintain vendor relationships.
2. Inventory & Stock Monitoring

Track and maintain Minimum Stock Levels (MSL) of all raw materials, chemicals, SFG, and packaging items. Prepare and update shortage reports for critical materials. Coordinate with production and stores to ensure uninterrupted supply chain.
3. Logistics & Coordination

Track incoming and outgoing materials daily. Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and warehouse teams for smooth dispatch and delivery. Manage documentation related to GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), DCs, and invoices.
4. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain purchase records, vendor files, and stock registers. Support audit and ISO documentation related to procurement and material traceability. Work closely with the accounts and quality departments for billing and quality clearances.

Required Qualification

M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Chemistry or related field (mandatory). Strong understanding of chemical and raw material procurement. Basic knowledge of purchase department processes and commercial documentation.

Experience

0-4 years in procurement / purchase / supply chain in a chemical, pharma, or dental materials industry. Fresh graduates with sound technical knowledge and strong analytical skills may also apply.

Key Attributes

Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and purchase tracking tools. Ability to multitask and coordinate across departments. Detail-oriented, proactive, and dependable.
