We are looking for a Procurement Clerk to support our procurement team, focusing primarily on the post-purchase management of procurement processes. This role will be dedicated to administrative tasks related to procurement, including coordinating orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring that purchased items meet the needs of business departments.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing: Collect procurement requirements from business departments and assist in placing orders.
Coordination & Communication: Work closely with the senior procurement team to ensure smooth communication between business departments and suppliers, facilitating an efficient procurement process.
Delivery Tracking: Monitor order and delivery status to ensure that items are delivered on time and meet the required standards.
Documentation Management: Maintain records of purchase orders, supplier communications, and delivery updates.
Inventory Assistance: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and restocking according to business department needs.
Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise during the procurement process, such as delivery discrepancies or product quality concerns, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve them.
Report Generation: Assist in generating procurement-related reports for tracking and review purposes.
Support Senior Procurement: Provide administrative support to the senior procurement team, including order follow-ups, filing, and record management.
Job Requirements
3-5 years of experience in procurement or related fields.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Basic understanding of procurement processes and order handling.
Ability to effectively follow up on multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for order tracking and report generation.
Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate across departments.
