Job Summary:



The Procurement and Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and logistics functions to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery of goods and services. This role involves vendor management, price negotiations, order tracking, and coordination with internal teams to maintain efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Procurement:



Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for best pricing, quality, and delivery terms. Prepare and process purchase orders, quotations, and procurement documentation. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing. Maintain an updated database of approved vendors and contracts.

Logistics:



Coordinate domestic and international shipments (import/export), ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Manage freight forwarding, customs clearance, and transport arrangements. Track and monitor shipments, update stakeholders, and resolve delays or discrepancies. Optimize logistics operations to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.

Inventory & Coordination:



Work closely with the warehouse and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels. Plan procurement schedules based on demand forecasts and project timelines. Support financial and operations teams with invoice reconciliation and cost control.

Reporting & Analysis:



Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization in supply chain operations.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in procurement and logistics or a similar role. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Good understanding of import/export regulations and shipping documentation. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, Oracle). Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
