Vendor Management:
Identify,evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing agreements with vendors.
Material Sourcing:
Source and purchase materials, components, and equipment required for material handling projects.
Ensure the availability of materials to meet project schedules.
Cost Analysis:
Analyze pricing proposals, quotations, and supplier invoices to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining product quality and reliability.
Inventory Management:
Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that purchased materials meet the required specifications and standards.
Address and resolve quality issues with suppliers promptly.
