It involves understanding and managing risks through design, engineering, and operations to protect people, the environment, and property from catastrophic accidents. Key components include hazard identification, risk assessment, and implementing multiple layers of protection. Key aspects of process safety

Hazard and risk management

: Identifying potential hazards in processes and evaluating the associated risks to prevent accidents.

Layers of protection

: Implementing safeguards like control systems, safety procedures, and emergency response plans to prevent or mitigate incidents.

Integrity management

: Ensuring the mechanical integrity of operating systems and equipment to prevent the release of hazardous materials and energy.

Management of change

: Having a system to address potential risks when changes are made to processes, equipment, or technology.

Process safety information

: Compiling written information on the hazards of chemicals and the technology of the process to help identify and understand risks.

Process Safety Management (PSM)

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
