Responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating piping and process systems for MEP projects including HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and utility networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare piping layouts, isometrics, P&IDs, and material specifications.
Perform pipe sizing, hydraulic calculations, and pump head calculations.
Select materials, valves, and fittings as per project standards.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, architectural, and structural teams.
Review vendor drawings, BOQs, and technical submittals.
Support installation, testing, and commissioning at site.
Ensure compliance with codes such as ASME, NFPA, IPC, and relevant MEP standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Mechanical/Process Engineering.
5-10 years of experience in piping design within the MEP industry.
Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, or similar design tools.
