Job Description

A Process Operator monitors and controls industrial machinery and systems to ensure safe, efficient, and quality production, involving operating equipment, making adjustments via control panels, troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, conducting quality checks, and maintaining detailed production logs and safety standards, often working in shifts as part of a team. Key duties include monitoring processes, adjusting controls (valves, switches), resolving malfunctions, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and documenting operational data. Key Responsibilities Monitoring & Control: Operate and monitor production equipment (pumps, reactors, lines) using control panels, adjusting settings to meet quality and quantity goals. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular product checks, analyze data, and make adjustments to maintain quality standards. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve minor mechanical, electrical, or process issues; escalate major problems. Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments on machinery. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols, perform safety audits, and enforce environmental practices. Documentation: Record production data, maintain logs, and complete reports accurately. Collaboration: Work with other operators, maintenance, and supervisors to meet production targets. Essential Skills & Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
