Job Summary

As our Process & Manufacturing Chemist, you will translate high-performance, lab-scale exosome formulations into robust, GMP-compliant manufacturing processes. You'll optimize small-batch and pilot production of luxury skincare (face serums, masks) and haircare (masks, serums), ensuring consistency, yield and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Scale-Up & TechTransfer:

Develop pilot- and commercial-scale processes for creams, serums, gels and masks infused with exosomes and advanced actives. Define process parameters (temperature, speed, order of addition) to preserve exosome integrity and product texture.

Process Optimization:

Conduct scale-up trials, identify bottlenecks, implement in-line controls and yield-improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot deviations in viscosity, pH, particle size or microbial results.

Quality & Compliance:

Draft and maintain GMP batch records, SOPs and deviation reports. Ensure adherence to ISO 22716, CDSCO and other relevant cosmetic manufacturing regulations.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Liaise with R&D chemists to ensure smooth tech-transfer and validate pilot- batch outcomes. Coordinate raw-material sourcing with Procurement, focusing on sterile actives and stability-graded excipients. Work with QA to define sampling plans, in-process checks and final QC specifications.

Training & Documentation:

Train production operators on handling sensitive biomolecules (exosomes), clean-room protocols and equipment operation. Generate process?flow diagrams, P&IDs and technical reports for audits and regulatory inspections.

Required Qualifications

B.Tech or M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering or related field. 3+ years' experience in cosmetic or sterile-process manufacturing, preferably with biologically active ingredients.

Skills & Competencies

Solid grounding in process-scale emulsification, homogenization, CIP systems and clean-room standards. Experience with stability monitoring, root-cause analysis (8D/A3) and process documentation. Strong interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration and external vendor management.
