We are seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking
Process Manager - Indirect Procurement Operations
to join our
Corporate Shared Services team in Bangalore (India)
. This role is responsible for managing the operational performance of Indirect Procurement processes, as well as identifying opportunities for optimization by leveraging our technology platforms, such as Coupa and SAP HANA. Additionally, the role involves driving continuous improvements across all processes.
The ideal candidate will possess deep operational expertise, strong leadership and team mentoring skills, exceptional analytical and presentation abilities, and a passion for leveraging emerging technologies to achieve operational excellence.

Key
Roles and Responsibilities:
Procurement Operational Excellence
+ Support the aspirations set by Global Indirect Procurement and Global Procurement Excellence in terms of P2P business processes and technology
+ Ensure a strong collaboration with Global Procurement Excellence related to leveraging e.g. technology platforms delivering efficiency to the processes and NVS.
Team & Service Delivery Management
+ Lead a team of process experts delivering high-quality Indirect Procurement Operations services across all Novonesis regions (excluding CN and LATAM).
+ Oversee daily operations, performance management, service delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction.
+ Act as a working team lead (hands-on) when needed, managing work allocation, performance, and team motivation.
Core Operational Deliverables (Team)
+
PR to PO Support
: Manage end-to-end requisition to PO lifecycle in Coupa and SAP; resolve issues such as incorrect coding or missing approvals.

Order Management
: Oversee general order processing, including open order closures.
+
Invoice Discrepancy Resolution
: Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve procurement-side issues impacting invoice processing.
+
Query Management
: Serve as the first point of contact for purchasing-related queries from users and suppliers.
+
: Provide documentation and insights for internal and external audits.
+
Reporting & Analytics
: Deliver actionable insights and dashboards to leadership; identify process gaps and improvement opportunities together with Global Procurement Excellence.

Project & Transformation Support
: Support initiatives like "No Po No Pay," guided buying, and automation projects.
+
Training & Knowledge Management
: Maintain SOPs and process documentation; promote best practices and continuous learning.
+
Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner closely with the Global Procurement and Procurement Excellence, Finance, IT, and other business units to identify pain points, implement best practices, and drive standardization and compliance across Procurement processes, and act as a trusted operational partner

+ In close collaboration with Procurement excellence team, leveraging technology and data analytics to drive "first-time-right" outcomes and shift from transactional to insight-driven operations.
+ Support adoption of new tools and digital capabilities in a continuously evolving procurement landscape.
People & Performance Leadership
+ Set direction, define goals, coach and develop team members, and foster a collaborative, end user-centric culture.
+ Maintain low employee turnover through engagement, recognition, and capability building.
+ Resolve conflicts constructively and promote a high-performance environment.
Controls, Compliance & Risk Management
+ Ensure strong internal controls, segregation of duties, and compliance with audit requirements.
+ Liaise with auditors and implement risk mitigation measures.
Training, Knowledge Management & Business Continuity
Maintain up-to-date SOPs, process maps, and documentation to ensure operational consistency and readiness.
Establish and regularly test business continuity plans to minimize disruption during resource transitions, system outages, or unforeseen events.
Ensure effective knowledge transfer and cross-training within the team to build redundancy and resilience.
Project & Resource Management
+ Support change initiatives and support global cross-functional projects.
+ Optimize resource utilization, manage competencies, and ensure effective documentation and escalation processes
Qualification and Work experience:
Essential:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
10+ years of work experience in Procurement Operations (P2P) domain
5+ years of work experience in leading operations teams, process transition or process optimization
Strong hands-on experience with Coupa and SAP; experience in multi-ERP environments is essential.
Strong MS office skills and working knowledge of MS Power Platform
Proficiency in Data Analysis and Leadership presentations
Fluent in written and spoken English
Proven ability to lead projects independently and collaborate across functions and geographies
Strong focus on operational efficiency, with a track record of identifying process bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions.
Experience using data and technology to streamline procurement operations and improve service delivery metrics
Desired:
Working experience in SAP Financials (Accounts Payables process) and Process mining (Celonis)
Familiarity with ticketing and service management tools such as ServiceNow, Zendesk
Experience with procurement transformation initiatives and change management
Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with procurement compliance frameworks and audit processes
