About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive

Process & Maintenance Engineer

to join our Chemical Process Plant operations team. The role shall encompass operating, monitoring, and maintaining plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. With a diploma in, electrical engineering the Engineer contributes to both process control and equipment upkeep, supporting preventive maintenance and process optimization activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Start, operate and stop plant equipment in accordance with production schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level; record operational data accurately for compliance and analysis. Inspect, adjust, or replace equipment components as necessary to maintain optimal performance and reliability. Conduct routine checks to ensure proper functioning of all systems and equipment. Adjust machinery settings to accommodate different processes, products, or production requirements. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance activities to prevent and resolve operational issues. Maintain accurate operational logs, documenting deviations and corrective actions. Ensure strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and other departments to identify process improvements and enhance operational efficiency. Participate in commissioning, start-up, shutdown, and emergency response activities as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering (mandatory) 2-4 years of experience in process operations, plant equipment handling, or mechanical and electrical maintenance. Proficiency in reading and interpreting Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs),electrical Single line diagram and equipment manuals. Hands on maintenance experience of electrical switchgears, DOL, Star delta starters, relays etc. Working and operational knowledge of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, boilers, and rotating equipment. Familiarity with process control systems (DCS/SCADA) and basic instrumentation. Strong understanding of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards. Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Willingness to work in rotating shifts and industrial environments. Willingness to relocate across India, if required by the Organization.
