To drive the highest standards from Trade Finance operations and provide ongoing assurance of controls via reviewing the accuracy of transactions as part of an agreed quality framework. Coach and provide structured feedback to team members. Provide recommendations to team leaders, operations managers and department leads on findings, trends and themes to create and maintain a mature risk culture.
What will you be doing?

  • Ensure that transaction & control monitoring is compliant with the defined Quality Assurance Framework and annual assurance roadmap
  • Responsible for completing all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly assurance activities within required timescales
  • Support the Head of QA maintain an effective control environment by utilising assurance metrics to identify process gaps and flag to leadership any concerns or defects on a timely basis
  • Able to analyse and process a range of information accurately and efficiently
  • Understand and validate any updates/changes to processes and ensure test scripts are accurately maintained
  • Support continuous improvement through questioning processes, providing feedback and sharing knowledge
  • Collaborate with Technology colleagues to introduce automated assurance solutions
  • Support improvements in control awareness and management capability by participating in best practise sessions to drive a consistent approach
  • Support the accreditation of QA colleagues to ensure no single points of failure
  • Drive own personal development and attend regular 121’s with Line Manager for feedback
  • Build and maintain effective relationships within allocated functional areas

What we’re looking for:
  • Graduate / post graduate from a reputed university(Regularly)
  • Must have strong banking domain knowledge
  • PC skills including Microsoft Office.

Skills that will help you in the role:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in banking sector
  • Risk and control awareness
  • Knowledge of LEAN principles, methodology and application
  • Knowledge of MI tools
