About The Job:

  • The ideal candidate will ensure the development and implementation of an appropriate Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) model and processes based on the ITIL Service Management framework.
  • The candidate will drive the successful application of this model across all aspects of IT delivery, including strategy, design, transition, operations, and continuous service improvement.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Define, design, transition, and continually improve the IT Service Management lifecycle, including processes, roles, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Provide guidance for process and procedure development, ensuring integration across ITIL v4 lifecycle processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, Knowledge, Asset, and Configuration Management).
  • Implement a vision for continuous service improvement emphasizing proactive planning, consumer-focused support culture, and accountability for effective and efficient service delivery.
  • Ensure service capability maturity aligns with agreed KPIs or desired customer levels.
  • Support service design to meet SLAs and OLAs.
  • Oversee documentation and communication of processes, policies, and procedures to ensure timely and cost-effective IT support.
  • Maintain awareness of technical advances, industry trends, and best practices in ITSM technologies, sourcing strategies, and evolving consumer needs.
  • Provide ITSM leadership and coaching across the enterprise.
Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of experience facilitating, leading, or supporting ITSM/ITIL v4 implementations and process frameworks.
  • Minimum 4 years of core ITIL process implementation experience using ServiceNow platform.
  • ITIL Foundation or Expert certification (mandatory).
  • Familiarity with program/project management and IT service delivery methodologies.
  • Experience in an infrastructure technology environment (highly desirable).

Educational Qualification
  • B.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech / MBA / B.Stat
Additional Skills (Must Have)
  • Problem-solving tools and analytical skills.
  • Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • High energy, confidence, assertiveness, and strong teamwork orientation.
Additional Experience (Preferred)
  • Functional knowledge of Six Sigma, Statistical tools, Quality & Process Re-engineering.
  • Exposure to ISO, CMMI, or COPC standards.
  • Consulting experience in Shared Services or BPO setup (desirable).
