Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.
Job Purpose: The Process Engineering Team Member assists in executing process engineering tasks within hydrocarbon and steel manufacturing projects, ensuring technical quality and adherence to project requirements. This role supports project planning, technical specification, analysis, field engineering, compliance, and stakeholder management, contributing to seamless project execution and effective risk management.
Responsibilities:
Process Engineering Team Member-PETCHEM
Project Planning and Coordination:
Facilitate the initiation of engineering activities by assisting in reviewing and approving project deliverables.
Ensure alignment with project goals and requirements by supporting the preparation and review of technical documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and Equipment Lists.
Promote seamless project execution by coordinating with project management and technical teams, assisting with progress tracking, documenting change requests, and supporting technical risk assessments.
Ensure thorough documentation and clear communication by preparing materials for technical meetings, documenting discussions, and compiling responses to contractor and vendor queries in line with design specifications.
Technical Specification, Analysis, and Review:
Ensure accurate process design and equipment selection by performing calculations for process equipment sizing and verifying technical data using various process engineering software and simulators.
Maintain compliance with project and industry standards by supporting the review of technical specifications, datasheets, and process drawings.
Ensure process safety and address technical issues by participating in HAZOP/SIL studies, audits, and field observations.
Keep technical documents up-to-date and accessible by assisting in managing and updating PFDs, P&IDs, Utility Summaries, and Equipment Lists.
Project Monitoring, Reporting, and Budget Control:
Support efficient project management by assisting in maintaining project documentation and updating records as needed.
Keep stakeholders informed and identify potential risks by contributing to the preparation of status reports on project progress, issues, and risks.
Field Engineering Support:
Facilitate successful plant start-up by providing on-site support during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Address and resolve process-related issues promptly by assisting in troubleshooting and field engineering support.
Compliance, Safety, and Risk Management:
Enhance project safety and compliance by assisting in implementing recommendations from HAZOP studies and audits.
Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards by supporting safety audits and assessing compliance.
Stakeholder Management:
Contribute to effective vendor and stakeholder relationships by participating in vendor selection and managing technical queries.
Ensure clear communication and alignment on project requirements by supporting interactions with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputed Institute/ University.
Work Experience (Range of years):
Minimum 5-6 years of experience in the relevant field.
