Job Description

Looking for a

Process Engineer

with strong knowledge of

chemical engineering principles

to support basic and detailed engineering design in process industries. The role involves preparing

heat/mass balances, equipment sizing/selection, PFDs, P&IDs, BOMs, and datasheets

, along with vendor coordination, cost control, and site support. The candidate will engage in

technical discussions with stakeholders, clients, and consultants

, and provide technical input across the project lifecycle - from pre-sales through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform process calculations (line sizing, pump hydraulics, heat exchangers, control valve/PRV/PSV selection). Develop and review

PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, and technical specifications

. Participate in procurement cycle: datasheets, vendor queries, offer comparison, drawing approvals. Support project execution: cost control, troubleshooting, commissioning, and validation (URS, DQ, IQ, OQ). Explore new vendors/components for

cost optimization without compromising quality

. Apply and ensure compliance with

ASME BPE, ISPE, cGMP, USP & EU guidelines

.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of

Bio-pharma, Life Sciences, FMCG process design

. Hands-on with

EPC design phases - Conceptual, Basic & Detailed design

. Expertise in

process calculations, energy/mass balance, utilities, thermal design, validation protocols

. * Proactive, cost-conscious, good communicator, and effective team player.
