Process Engineer

to spearhead key initiatives and drive the success of our new office in Mumbai.



The ideal candidate will work with a group of experienced professionals based in India and worldwide and contribute to oversee and manage process engineering design activities, ensuring the delivery of efficient, innovative, and high-quality technical solutions for complex projects. The role includes providing expert technical support to sales activities and promoting Casale products in the local market.

Main Responsibilities:

Definition of optimal process configuration, plant simulation, design of process equipment; Identification and proposal of technical development and innovation opportunities; Preparation of process documentation and provision of technical support for Technical Proposals, Feasibility Studies and Engineering Packages; Technical support for proposal activities, including visits to Customers for clarification meetings; Technical support to business development activities, including visits to Customers for promotional purposes; Site surveys and assistance during start up and test run; Technical support to Customer Care department for troubleshooting and plant performances evaluation. Participation in major conferences and events in the area of competence

Education

Master's degree in chemical engineering focused on process development

Languages

Very fluent written and spoken English

Skills

Good knowledge of software tools for plant simulation and equipment. Availability to travel for contacts, discussions with clients, site surveys, plants start-up and guarantee test runs; Good team player, ability to build relationships inside and outside the company, self-motivated with strong communication skills. Commercial skills

Experience

Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar position in an engineering or technology company operating in chemical or petrochemical plants; * Work experience in Syngas (ammonia, methanol and hydrogen applications) will be considered as a preferred qualification.
