As a Process Engineer you would be involved in performing process calculations, equipment sizing, and hydraulic analyses while ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards. Preparing and reviewing engineering documents such as P&IDs, heat and mass balances, equipment specifications, and operating manuals. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Solid understanding of equipment sizing, hydraulic calculations, pressure relief capacity determination, and orifice plate flow analysis. Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings including P&IDs, vessel assembly diagrams, plant layouts, piping routes, and isometrics. Practical knowledge of process control systems, plant utilities, piping design, and process equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, vacuum systems, and chillers. Strong foundation in fluid mechanics, unit operations, heat transfer, stoichiometric calculations, and heat & mass balance. Experience in process calculations, simulations, and equipment design. Competence in preparing operating manuals and related technical documentation. Strong familiarity with process industry codes, regulations, and best practices Ability to prepare and manage key deliverables including equipment lists, technical sheets, and specification sheets for purchased items such as pumps, exchangers, vacuum units, and instruments. Skilled in developing flowsheets, P&IDs, heat and mass balance sheets, utilities and consumption reports, and effluent documentation. Competence in producing cause-and-effect charts, operating manuals, and other essential documents to support plant operations and safety compliance. Working knowledge of site safety procedures, including hazardous environment requirements (HAZOP), confined space entry, fall protection, MSDS, and PPE compliance. Ability to participate in HAZOP studies and ensure adherence to safety standards during design and operations Experience in contract review and technical evaluation. Capability to check GADs of vessels, layouts, steel structures, piping, and IBR drawings. Serve as a reference point for all process-related matters across projects, coordinating with project managers, cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, and certification bodies Willingness to conduct site visits for contract review, engineering assistance, and customer support. Hands-on involvement in plant commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, audits, and performance optimization

REQUIRED PROFILE

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with 3-6 years of experience in process industries; preference for oilseeds, oils, fats, and oleochemicals, though related sectors are also acceptable. Willingness to travel internationally (>30% of the time), often at short notice, with the ability to stay on-site for extended durations. Possession of a valid passport and eligibility to secure visas for multiple countries without restrictions; international driving license is desirable. Strong command of English, with proficiency in additional languages (Spanish, French, or Chinese) considered an advantage. Proven ability to independently manage communication with clients and global offices, covering both technical and non-technical matters. Demonstrated skills in analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and effective problem resolution within complex industrial environments. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams and across cultural contexts. Reliable, well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing responsibilities independently in foreign environments.
