The Opportunity

JD: Associate II - Engineering Design

Job role:

Process Engineer - Indirect Procurement

This Individual will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing procurement processes for indirect categories (E.g. Labor and services, Procure to order, etc). This role focuses on streamlining workflows, redesigning the workflows, leveraging data analytics, and business process mapping.



Key Responsibilities


Define, document and analyze current state processes

Generate internal documentation for standardization of processes and workflows

Interact with internal stakeholders to facilitate discussion and document work activity

Assess process improvement opportunities relative to impact and ease of implementation

Define & document business requirements and use cases with internal stakeholders

With internal stakeholders, define the to-be process and change impact

Document business process mapping for the source-to-order lifecycle, identifying key pain points and complex system relations

Review existing work instructions and identify areas of improvement or clarification, document moderately complex workflows in process design tool (e.g. Visio)

Use process simulation tools & understand production systems (e.g. Ariba, ServiceNow & SAP Fieldglass)

Delivers documentation and presentations in terms that are understandable to all parties.


Qualifications




Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, Operations or Related field.

3-6 years' experience Process engineering. Business Process mapping and Workflow mapping and continuous improvement concepts (Lean, CI, Six Sigma)

Experience in procurement software platforms (SAP, Ariba, Coupa etc)

Strong analytical, Project management, and communication skills.
