Position: Senior Process Engineer Job Location: Goregaon- East, Mumbai

Qualification: B.E. / M.E. - Chemical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 5- 9 years in Process Engineering

:

Candidate shall be based in Mumbai office. Candidate will have to work on Core Process Engineering & detailed engineering. Candidate will be leading a team of engineers & shall directly report to the management.

Process FEED & Detailed Engineering, Mass balance & heat balance calculation.

Sizing of Equipment, Instrument and Lines

Performing Hydraulic calculation of network lines

Estimation of Power load

Review of Engineering documents, reports & Operating manual

Review of PFD, P&ID

Review of SAFE Charts, Cause & Effect Diagram

Review of Datasheets for Rotating, Static and Instruments

To be responsible for all the technical decisions related to process

To ensure that all documents/deliverables (originals and copies) and correspondence are filed

Guiding Project management team on emergency.

To assist the PM & other project team members to execute Detailed Engineering and FEED job in a project. Support department to establish the and Update procedures and standards

Coordinate with Manager/ Project Engineer and raise DCS (Design Change Sheet)

Relevant Industries/ Sector: Aromatic, Specialty chemicals

Skills:

Preparation/ Detailing of BFD, PFD & P&ID

Equipment selection and sizing, Preparation of process and utility equipment specification

Pump hydraulics and Power consumption, Line sizing for liquids & Gases, Pressure drop calculation, knowledge of Type of valves & Applications.

PSV sizing

Equipment List & Sizing

Hydraulic calculations

Software Skills - Basic:

MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) & AutoCAD

Software Skills (Optional): Heat exchanger design using Aspen HYSYS, CHEMCAD & HTRI

Salary: 9 - 15 Lakhs Per Annum

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
