Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Process Engineer to support process planning and control activities in a precision manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and optimizing process plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality project execution within set timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare process sheets, operation sequences, and control documents for precision components.

Interpret 2D engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles for accurate process planning.

Develop and review part models and technical drafts to support manufacturability and design optimization.

Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to align process requirements.

Communicate with customers for project updates, technical clarifications, and delivery planning.

Monitor production schedules and track process performance metrics.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for process deviations.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of process planning and control concepts.

Proficiency in 2D drawing interpretation and GD&T standards.

Basic knowledge of part modelling and design tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Problem-solving and analytical thinking ability.

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Education

B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical

Preferred Tools & Software

SolidWorks / AutoCAD

MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

ERP or production planning software (if applicable)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹950,000.00 per year
