The Role

The new SEAM organization integrates Safety, Environment & Asset Management activities, with a broad geographical footprint, that will support Shell’s business & assets around the world. The vision of SEAM is to provide capability across the spectrum of Safety, Environment and Asset Management with:

• Shaping the future ways of working through introducing to the business new technology and news way of working, including e.g. digital, SBO, and real-time, data-driven, end-to-end optimization and risk management, but also global programmes like Human Performance Based Safety Philosophy.
• Providing performance feedback driving disciplined execution to deliver reliable, predictable results
• Helping the businesses build their improvement plans and provide support to execute them
• Sustaining performance through strong core capabilities (internal, including SBO & contingent) through building expertise and a company-wide consistent approach

The incumbent will be expected to play a key role in driving change to optimize the reporting systems and processes and providing the performance data and insights required to support the Goal Zero journey The Process Data Engineer- E&IDesigner will be part of the VP TAO organization The VP TAO will be accountable for maximizing integrated business value across the organization. Technical Asset Operations (TAO) is a key enabler for the accelerated delivery of Shell’s Asset Management System and will help us to reach our ultimate potential in Downstream Manufacturing, Integrated Gas and Upstream. TAO provides high quality and cost-competitive technical resources who are not physically present at site yet are an integral part of asset teams delivering value through end-to-end AMS work processes. Job Purpose Provide support to Shell’s OUs by drafting / detailing the electrical and instrumentation drawings through tools such as Auto-Cad/MicroStation/ Raster cad. Candidate primarily works on AutoCAD/MicroStation. AVEVA suite can be a added skillpool. Dimensions The role is expected to be the expert in electrical / instrumentation designer and closely engage with an OU in updating the technical drawings & suggest improvement solutions on enhancing the overall quality of work. Also provide training and support to other drafters while replicating best practices from stakeholders and partner organizations. Principal Accountabilities:

• Relevant drafting and detailing experience in onshore/offshore Oil and Gas industries in Mechanical piping engineering in FEED, Detail Engineering and As-built process.
• Development, drafting and As-Built updating of common instrumentation design drawings such as Instrument Location Layouts, Instrument loop diagram, Electrical Heat Tracing Zone drawing, Underground piping layouts, Cable Routing layout, Cable Block Diagram, Cable Schedules, Wiring Diagrams.
• Read & comprehend general technical drawings of the process & facilities like PEFS (Process Engineering Flow Scheme) / P&ID, PFD (Process flow diagram), EFD (Engineering flow diagram).
• Understand and interpret the corrections & redline mark ups done in the drawings.
• Capable of using Raster Cad tool for rastering the tiff image file related to drawing updations.
• Knowledge and experience on plant layouts, incorporate the corrections & re-draw using 2D tools, Vendor drawings updation.
• Understand the completeness and consistency across the entire project for improving quality and reducing rework.
• Hands on experience in 3D model review tools such as Navisworks freedom/ manager, smart plant review.
• Hands on experience in 3D modelling and handling 3D modeling software like Aveva tools, Smart plant will be a value added scope.

• The role primarily involves the remote support to the Shell operating units/sites in the drawing management & updates.

Education/Experience: Electrical/Instrumentation /Industrial Engineering Degree/ Diploma with at 3-4 years of work experience in

• Oil & Gas/Petrochemical Industry - operating assets and/or a varied range of greenfield/brownfield projects.
• Familiar with international codes, standards, recommended practices and knowledge level in Shell Dep will be added advantageous.
• Electrical and instrumentation engineering in cable layout, wiring diagrams, instrumentation loop & hook up diagram, single line diagram respectively in design, drafting & engineering firms/ consultancy firms/ plant environments/industry past the professional degree/diploma.
• Reviewing and understanding of all the technical documents.
• Document management.
• Bill of materials
• Review and prepare Bill of material / Material Take off

Highly Preferred skills are:

• Strong knowledge in 2D tools such as Auto-cad.
• Acting as interface with other disciplines to overcome design / drafting issues
