A process coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of materials,information and other resources through a company's production or service processes. They ensure that all steps are completed in a timely manner and that no steps are missed.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Acting as a liaison between project managers and other team members, such as engineers or designers, to ensure that projects are moving along smoothly
Reviewing work orders to ensure that they have been completed correctly and offering feedback to the employee who performed the work
Monitoring budgets, timesheets, and work schedules to ensure that projects are completed on time
Organizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure that deadlines are met
Providing support for other staff members by answering questions about procedures or policies
Monitoring work quality to ensure that it meets company standards
As a process coordinator, you may be responsible for communicating with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders. It's important to be able to convey information clearly and concisely. You may also need to communicate complex ideas in a way that's easy to understand.
