Payroll Specialist - US Payroll (2-3 Years Experience)

Work Location:

Ambattur, Chennai

Shift Timing:



Primary: 9:30 PM - 6:30 AM (IST) Monthly Rotational Shift: 6:30 PM - 3:30 AM (IST)

(Flexibility to work in rotational shifts is mandatory)
No hybrid/ No remote/ No work from model of working. Must be available in the office 5 days a week*

Job Summary





We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced

Payroll Specialist

with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in

US Payroll processing

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll execution, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with US payroll practices.

Key Responsibilities



Process end-to-end US payroll for employees across multiple payroll frequencies (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly). Work on payroll systems to ensure accurate employee data management and payroll processing. Handle and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee queries, and adjustments in a timely manner. Maintain compliance with US payroll regulations, policies, and internal audit requirements. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations. Prepare and validate payroll reports for internal and external audits. Support ad-hoc payroll-related projects as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications



2-3 years of proven experience in

US Payroll

. Strong knowledge of payroll frequencies commonly used in the US. Hands-on experience with payroll systems/software. Ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies effectively. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Willingness and flexibility to work in

night shifts

with

monthly rotational shift timings
