Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Set up chart of Accounts and new clients in the software
Processing & Reconciliation of Banking Transactions
Processing and/or matching of Investment Transactions
Matching Rental Statements
Correctly recording GST on required items
Preparation of annual return and financial statements as well as associated compliance documents
Preparation of workpaper files
Qualifications, knowledge & experience
1-3-year experience in a similar job profile
Completed Bachelor of Accounting/Commerce or Finance related degree preferable
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office suite, specifically Excel
Adaptable and flexible
Attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team
Proficient in accounting
Should be able to do multi-tasking & be flexible
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
Team ethic
Ability to take direction, show initiative and work autonomously
Stable employment history
