The Process Associate will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve operational workflows, maintain records, and support process optimization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and review quotes for
personal and commercial lines
of insurance (e.g., Auto, Homeowners, General Liability, BOP, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto) in line with client requirements and carrier underwriting guidelines.
Support underwriters and account managers in handling all stages of the
policy life cycle
, including
new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements
, and general
policy servicing
.
Utilize agency management systems (AMS) and rating tools such as
EZLynx, Applied Rater, or Vertafore
to input risk data and obtain accurate premium estimates.
Review quotes to ensure
compliance with underwriting rules
, correct rate application, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify missing or inconsistent policy details and ensure timely follow-up on required documentation.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all quoting activities, including
submission logs, transaction history
, and customer correspondence.
Actively contribute to process improvements and documentation related to P&C quoting and policy support operations..
Qualifications:
1-3 years
of experience in an insurance operations, quoting, or support role, preferably within
(GL, BOP, WC, Commercial Auto).
Experience using insurance platforms such as
EzLynx, HawkSoft, QQCatalyst, Applied Epic, TAM, Salesforce
, or similar quoting/management systems.
Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
and comfort handling policy forms, coverage summaries, and rate comparison sheets.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with
U.S. Property & Casualty insurance markets
, including regional carrier practices, rating procedures, and compliance standards; exposure to
global insurance workflows
is a plus.
Prior experience supporting
insurance brokers, retail or wholesale agencies, or underwriting teams
, particularly in a quoting, submission, or policy servicing capacity.
Strong ability to
read, interpret, and apply
underwriting guidelines, coverage forms,
declaration pages
, and
rating manuals
to ensure accurate quote generation and transaction processing.
