The Problem Manager is responsible for the quality and integrity of the process Problem Management and the main purpose is to take full responsibility of troubleshooting & problem analysis / technical discussions / self-initiator to mentor peers for Competence Development / Process understanding and awareness / Audits awareness and follow ups / handling emergencies and trouble tickets activities related to RAN, Transmission & OSS Network (RCA for Mobile Network, Alarm & Incident Trend analysis and reduction in Alarms & Incident in Mobile Network domains)

What you will do

  • Conduct post incident review to analyze the problem.
  • Identify corrective actions and recommend the changes to change management, process management or SLA management.
  • Contribute to develop and maintain good record of problems, root cause and solution details in the form of knowledge base that can be used as a reference for reduction of repetitive incidents
  • Regular post incident review and lessons learnt meetings with stakeholders.
  • Identify and records risks in the network and track them till closure.
  • Create the corrective actions to be employed for prevention of the problem using multi-domain skills
  • Delegate the tasks efficiently with in the operations team to meet SLAs well within the time limits for deliverables.
  • Direct implementation of corrective actions and changes to processes and SLA management
  • Work well within predefined system support guidelines and ground rules.
  • Participate in internal technical discussions in view to improve overall network performance and make recommendations wherever possible.
  • Ensure correct working methodology, Best Practices and Continuous improvements in Ways of Working for efficiency improvements and betterment in deliveries.
  • Identify potential candidates for automation AI/ML
  • Support Data Authority team and automation team in understanding automation/AI/ML requirements
  • MOP preparation for automation/AI/ML use cases

You will bring

  • Degree in Engineering preferably in electronics and communication or telecommunication or equivalent
  • Experience in Telecom. 5-12 depends upon JS level
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and hands on approach
  • GSM Telecommunications knowledge with telephony switching principles, traffic concept, telecommunication networks & signaling.
  • Network Architecture in technologies of 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G.
  • Core network performance / configuration parameters and their interpretation and usage.
  • Transport Networks and their implementation approaches and their integration with core network.
  • Support and supply processes. Certifications: ITIL
  • Language skills: Proficiency in Written / Spoken English. Values and behaviors: Ericsson Core Values, Honesty, Integrity
