: Senior Data Engineer/Microsoft Azure Data Engineer

Responsibilities

: As Data Engineer, you will be working with data architects to take data throughout its lifecycle - acquisition, exploration, data cleaning, integration, analysis, and visualization. You will be creating the pipeline for data processing, data visualization, and analytics products. You will be the go-to person for end-to-end data handling, management, and analytics processes.

Skills

:

Proven hands-on experience in data engineering and business intelligence development. Extensive ETL experience with software programming languages like Java, Python, R, & SQL. ETL experience with some of the industry well known tools like Informatica, Dell Boomi, MS SSIS etc., Solid experience with data modelling, data warehouse design and data lake concepts and practices. Experience working in any one or more data services in Microsoft Azure Data Platform environment.

Strong T-SQL skills with experience in Azure SQL Data Warehouse. Nice to have experience in big data technologies like Hadoop, Kafka, Hive, Spark etc., Good experience in project management - Requirements gathering, Tasks management, UAT, reporting and escalation management. Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, actionable manner. Strong in oral and written communication skills.


Ability to work with cross functional teams.
