Mahatma Gandhi University Meghalaya seeking a Pro Vice Chancellor The Pro Vice Chancellor will assist the Vice Chancellor in driving the academic, administrative, and strategic functions of Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya. The PVC will play a pivotal role in academic leadership, policy implementation, regulatory compliance, and quality enhancement initiatives, contributing to the university's vision of excellence in education, research, and innovation.

Assist in formulating and executing academic and administrative policies. Promote research, innovation, and quality education across departments. Ensure compliance with UGC, NAAC, and other regulatory standards. Strengthen national and international academic collaborations. Mentor faculty and staff for academic and professional growth. Support student-centric initiatives for holistic development. Represent the university in academic forums and regulatory meetings.

Eligibility Criteria

Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with a proven academic and research record. At least 15 years of experience in higher education leadership or senior academic positions. Strong knowledge of accreditation, regulatory frameworks, and institutional governance. Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
