We are looking for a warm, skilled, and child-centered

Primary Learning Facilitator

to support a Year 3 student with writing difficulties. This is not a traditional tutoring role.The facilitator will work in a calm one-on-one setting to reinforce core concepts in English, phonics, maths, and science using multi-sensory, structured, and emotionally attuned teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

Reinforce English and phonics using

Read Write Inc (RWI)

. Support Year 3

White Rose Maths

through hands-on, visual activities. Strengthen reading comprehension, writing stamina, vocabulary, and grammar. Introduce science concepts through simple, inquiry-based, hands-on learning. Break learning into short, structured blocks. Integrate movement, sensory breaks, and visual routines into sessions. Build confidence, reduce overwhelm, and create a safe, predictable learning environment. Prepare simple lesson plans and maintain basic weekly progress notes. Collaborate regularly with the parent to align on learning goals and support strategies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience teaching

Cambridge / IB / UK National Curriculum

at the primary level. Familiarity with

RWI Phonics

and/or a structured phonics approach (preferred). Ability to teach White Rose Maths (or willingness to learn quickly). Calm, patient, and emotionally regulated personality. Creative, multi-sensory teaching approach. Strong communication, organisation, and planning skills.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From ?10,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 6 per week
