Your Role: Privacy & Security Analyst
This is a full-time role based in Mumbai. As a Privacy & Security Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support privacy compliance, security assessments, and implementation of privacy management tools across client environments.
Note : This is not a SOC, SIEM, or incident response role.
Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end privacy and security compliance initiatives aligned with global regulations (DPDP Act, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).
Assist in implementation, configuration, and optimization of privacy tools (CMPs, RoPA tools, DSAR tools, consent management platforms, GRC tools, etc.).
Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIA/DPIA) and security risk assessments.
Support development and review of privacy and security documentation -- policies, procedures, SOPs, notices, and frameworks.
Work with clients to operationalize privacy-by-design and security-by-design principles.
Collaborate with technical and legal teams to map data flows and identify risks.
Support audits, client reporting, gap assessments, and remediation tracking.
Stay updated on evolving privacy laws, cybersecurity threats, and best practices.
Assist in internal process improvements and tool automation initiatives.
Requirements
2-3 years of hands-on experience in privacy, data protection, and information security.
Demonstrated experience with privacy tool implementation (any leading privacy/GRC/security platforms).
Working knowledge of privacy regulations (DPDP Act, GDPR, ISO 27701, etc.) and security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
Understanding of data lifecycle management, consent management, DSAR handling, and risk assessments.
Strong documentation, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple client engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Prior experience in consulting or client-facing roles is a plus.
