Job Description

Instruction and curriculum:

Develop and deliver lesson plans for courses covering topics like offset, flexography, screen printing, digital printing, and packaging. This includes both theoretical and practical components.

Laboratory management:

Conduct and supervise practical sessions and workshops in printing labs, ensuring students can operate machinery safely and effectively.

Student assessment:

Administer tests, assignments, and other evaluations to assess student understanding and skill development. Provide constructive feedback to students and report on their progress to department heads.

Equipment and software:

Teach students to use and maintain printing equipment and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), and other relevant technology.

Staying current:

Keep up-to-date with new printing technologies, materials (like inks and paper), and industry trends to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and the skills taught are job-ready.

Industry collaboration:

May involve interacting with industry partners to ensure the training aligns with current workforce needs.
