Job Description

We are looking for a

Printing Technologist with strong sales acumen

to promote and sell printing solutions. The ideal candidate will combine

technical knowledge of printing processes

with

customer-facing sales skills

, providing expert guidance, building relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

Identify and develop new business opportunities in printing, packaging, or allied industries Promote printing products, consumables, machines, or services to clients Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals Maintain strong relationships with existing customers
Technical Support & Consultation

Understand customer printing requirements and recommend suitable solutions Provide technical explanations of printing processes, materials, and technologies Assist customers with product trials, demonstrations, and troubleshooting Coordinate with production, service, and technical teams for customer support
Market & Customer Analysis

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities Collect customer feedback and suggest product or service improvements Maintain customer and sales data using CRM systems
Coordination & Reporting

Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates Coordinate with logistics, production, and finance teams for order execution Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events
Required Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in

Printing Technology / Graphic Arts / Packaging Technology

1-5 years of experience in

printing sales, technical sales, or production

(freshers with strong technical knowledge may apply) Strong understanding of printing processes such as offset, flexo, gravure, digital, or screen printing
Skills & Competencies

Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, customer-friendly manner Negotiation and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with a result-oriented approach Willingness to travel for customer meetings
Preferred Experience (Optional)

Experience in selling printing machines, inks, substrates, plates, or consumables Knowledge of packaging, labels, or commercial printing markets
