Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Printing Operations:

Set up and operate printing machines (e.g., flexo, screen, or gravure) as per job requirements. Ensure accurate alignment, color matching, and print quality on all bag types. Adjust machine settings and conduct test runs to verify output.

Quality Control:

Inspect printed bags for defects such as smudges, misprints, or color mismatches. Ensure that printing meets the company's quality standards and customer specifications.

Material Handling:

Monitor ink, plates, and other printing materials. Ensure proper usage of raw materials with minimal waste.

Maintenance:

Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of printing equipment to ensure smooth operation. Report mechanical issues or breakdowns to the maintenance team.

Documentation & Coordination:

Maintain records of daily print production, materials used, and job completion. Coordinate with design, cutting, and stitching departments to align production schedules.

Requirements:

Graduation or certification in printing or related trade. 2-5 years of experience in a similar role in a bag or bag manufacturing unit. Hands-on experience with flexographic, screen, or gravure printing machines. Good understanding of inks, printing plates, and substrates (fabric, plastic, non-woven). Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
