to support our production team. You will be responsible for assisting the Machine Operator in setting up, running, and maintaining printing presses. Your goal is to help maintain high-quality output and ensure the work area remains clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Setup:
Assist in loading paper/substrates, mounting plates/cylinders, and preparing inks for production.
Production Support:
Monitor the machine during runs to check for issues like paper jams, ink consistency, or mechanical errors.
Material Handling:
Move raw materials to the machine and transport finished products to the packing or storage area.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
Clean the machine parts (rollers, ink trays, etc.) after every job and perform basic oiling and maintenance.
Quality Check:
Assist in identifying print defects like spots, smudges, or color variations.
Shop Floor Organization:
Maintain a tidy workspace to ensure safety and efficiency (5S practices).
Requirements & Skills
Experience:
1-2 years in a manufacturing or printing environment (freshers with a technical background may also be considered).
Physical Fitness:
Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy materials (paper rolls/ink buckets).
Technical Interest:
A willingness to learn the technical aspects of printing machines (Offset, Flexo, or Digital).
Punctuality:
Strong commitment to work timings and shift schedules.
Teamwork:
Ability to follow instructions clearly from the Machine Operator or Production Manager.
